The Console Module Supervisor will perform critical vessel and tower supervision on the top deck while providing maintenance services to refineries and petrochemical facilities. Assignments are closely supervised and designed to further develop employee job knowledge and abilities. This position is considered seasonal due to the project based nature of the job.

The position of the Console Module Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day activities performed in client facilities; both inert and non-inert confined space entry atmosphere and to perform work toward its projects’ goal of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Service. The Console Module Supervisor will conduct all Company business in accordance with Company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism throughout all business dealings, both internally and externally.

 

This position is for 5 temporary employees from March 1 to Nov 30, 2025

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority
  • Adhere to all applicable company, customer and legislative codes, regulations, practices, and procedures.
  • Promote a positive safety culture through company values.
  • Demonstrate the ability to properly test Life Support Equipment.
  • Responsible for testing breathing air and filling egress cylinders.
  • Responsible for securing and attaching umbilicals.
  • Responsible for testing all life support equipment prior to onsite use.
  • Responsible for helmet maintenance.
  • Maintain constant communication with Entry Team and Ground Foreman.
  • Demonstrate legible penmanship, grammar and computer skills.
  • Continually complete, update, collect and manage all applicable project paperwork.
  • Visually inspect all life support equipment upon completion of project.
  • Operate, understand and troubleshoot all components of the life support system and equipment.
  • Maintain good communication with plant personnel.
  • Operate, understand and calibrate gas detection equipment used by Corporate.
  • Perform and direct the rig up / rig down of the entire life support system from the ground to the top deck.
  • Meet the requirements of the High Angle Rescue Coordinator.
  • Will be held accountable for the safety of the entry team.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and organization within and around the Life Support Trailer.
  • Ensure proper permitting requirements are met, establish and manage lock out / tag out, verification and the blind list instructions.
  • Ensure proper video recordings are being documented as per client and Corporate standards / requests.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of progress being made by the entry team.
  • Properly perform and demonstrate Nitrogen Back Pressure Test.
  • Actively participate in health and safety meetings, safety communication, planning, and hazard assessments.
  • Maintain a current Console Module Supervisor certification and meet all aspects of the VET position requirements.
  • Work as part of a team with Clients, Co-workers & Supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the Console Module Supervisor position
  • Minimum class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Safety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting
  • Possesses cleanliness and organizational skills
  • Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
  • Must have the ability to enter confined spaces and wear a respirator and breathing air helmet
  • Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Willing and able to travel for extended periods and the ability to work 10-12-hour shifts (including nights, weekends and out of town)
  • Ability to access Client sites which may require clearance of a drug and alcohol screen
